 Over 20 years of experience in early education has taught me that every child is unique and deserves to be celebrated for their individuality. I am committed to providing children with opportunities to explore their interests, develop their skills, and build relationships with their families. I am also passionate about creating a sense of community and belonging in the preschool setting. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, watching musicals, and going to the gym. 

With over 11 years of experience in early childhood education, I am inspired by children's love of life, enthusiasm, and curiosity. The early years are critical for learning and development, and I am committed to providing children with real opportunities to learn, develop, and have fun. Outside of the classroom, I enjoy spending time with my family, friends, at the beach, watching movies, and training at the gym.

I have been teaching for over 10 years, mostly in Albert Park in 3 and 4 year old programs. I have also worked at other kindergartens on the Mornington Peninsula. I love the variety of my job and the opportunity to learn from children. I am passionate about wellbeing and helping children embrace their individual learning journeys. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, going on adventures, and spending time at the beach.

I am a mother of two sons, and my passion for early childhood education was inspired by them. I love to engage children in play and listen to their thoughts, which allows me to build respectful and sincere relationships with them. I encourage children to feel a sense of belonging, use their creativity, and be spontaneous in their play. I support children in building their resilience and communication skills through interaction with adults and peers. I am looking forward to creating precious memories with our new friends together.

I'm so excited to start my educator life with Mentone Pre School in 2024! I have been involved with the preschool since my children attended in 2015 and 2017, as a committee member, a parent volunteer during sessions and later as the office administrator. During some brief time away I realised how much I wanted to be back among the nurturing, playful and dedicated environment of Mentone Pre School, so I enrolled in my Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care, I've only just begun this journey but it fills my heart to be around all your children and be part of the continuation of their learning! 

My career in early childhood education started in 2006 when I decided to follow my heart to work with children. I have a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, and I am committed to providing children with a nurturing, safe, and engaging environment where they can learn through play and challenge themselves. I value the honesty, energy, and enthusiasm of preschoolers, and I love building relationships with them and getting to know their unique personalities and learning styles. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends.

I am a passionate kindergarten educator with over 40 years of experience across early learning and primary school and hold a Bachelor of Teaching Early Childhood Education. I believe that the kindergarten years are a special time in each child’s life, and I am committed to providing a nurturing and supportive environment where children can learn and grow. I am also passionate about building relationships with children, families, and colleagues. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, walking on the beach, and catching up with friends.

I am an early childhood educator with over 8 years of experience. I have worked in long daycare centres, primary schools, and high schools across the country. I have a passion for working with children of all ages, and I am particularly interested in the early years. I enjoy guiding children through their exploration, investigation, and discovery of the world around them. The early years are a critical time for learning and development, and I am committed to providing children with a stimulating and supportive environment. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my partner and our families. We love spending time in the outdoors and exploring the beautiful country we live in.
